FPI’s Presentation at the ENTECH VIETNAM 2022

This year, the ENTECH VIETNAM will be held from October 26th to 28th in Hanoi. ENTECH VIETNAM is appreciated by the Ministry of Industry and Trade as the largest and oldest energy and environment exhibition in Vietnam. It is an expected platform for presenting the most advanced environment management technology and products, benefiting industrial sellers and buyers.



As the world’s leading advanced equipment provider, FPI is invited to the exhibition and has its booth :A23 for our environment management equipment and solutions. 


For Vietnam Environmental Management


The main overall issue regarding environmental protection that Vietnam is currently dealing with includes a lack of clean water supply, wastewater, air pollution, and solid waste.

The results come from mixed and complicated reasons, like failed regulation, outdated management methods, and surging economic and industrial development with constant ignorance of environmental damages. 

To alleviate the condition, the Vietnam government and manufacturing enterprises sought help from FPI. Here is the introduction of the project in Vietnam:


1.Requirement Analysis

It can be divided into two parts according to the regional industrial layout:

· Northern area: heavy industry dominates, where gas monitoring devices like CEMS-2000 BF will be most demanded.

· Southern area: heavy and light industries are processing in this industry. Therefore, water quality monitoring equipment, like SIA-3000 and WOA-100, is also required.


According to the equipment applications zones, our solutions can be divided into:
· CEMS+water quality monitoring equipment for steel and cement factories
· LGA series for photovoltaic power plants, paper mills, and refineries.

2.Take the Cooperation with URENCO as an Example

URENCO is Vietnam’s largest and most seminal state-run waste incineration plant while a member of the Vietnam Urban Environment and Industrial Zone Association (VUREIA), which is the brain trust of the Vietnam government to settle environmental protection legislation and regulations. 

Our further cooperation is triggered by the changes in the policies: HCl detection is added in the air quality detection domain. Besides, we found that the monitoring difficulties are leveled up because of the growing complicated processing environments and the harassing of various unrelated gases. 

The status quo drives us to improve our project to cope with the complicated situations, and here is the monitoring equipment we provide for URENCO:


· CEMS-2000BF

It is the devices we will exhibit at the ENTECH VIETNAM 2022.

Targeted pollutants and indicators: SO2, NOX, CO, CO2, dust, temperature, flow, and pressure. 



Applications: Products can be used in harsh environments such as dusty and high temperatures and corrosive areas for online emission monitoring.

Two principles in use:

The CEMS-2000 series Flue Gas Continuous Monitoring System harnesses the hot-wet extractive method with the following two principles for different pollutants:

· UV-Differential Optical Absorption spectroscopy (UV-DOAS) principle: 
Every type of molecule and gas has its own unique absorption spectrum properties, like the “fingerprints” of the gases, which then can be detected based on the evaluation and analysis of light losses from molecular absorption along the path. 
· Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) principle. 
It is the industry-standard method of measuring the concentration of carbon oxides like CO and CO2. 


· LGA-4300 (HCl)

LGA-4000 is a highly integrated laser gas analysis system that analyses several toxic and hazardous compounds (HF, NH3, H2S, HCl) from stacks, which can be a reliable device to remedy the HCl monitoring gaps of the incineration spots. The data generated by the devices are highly reliable, supporting real-time monitoring. Besides, it is rugged and quality, which can work in difficult environments with high temperatures, pressure, corrosives, and pollutants. 

Features:
· Maintenance-free with cross-stack alignment. 
· Auto drift correction ensures an up-to-one-year calibration interval
· International IEC-EX certified. 
· Monochromaticity with spectral width down to 0.001nm ensures high precision and anti-interference from background

Applications:
· HCl, HF in waste incineration
· NH3 slip in thermal power plant SCR, SNCR
· NH3 and HF monitoring in fertilizer plant
· HCl in the pharmacy industry


· AQMS-1000
An ambient monitoring system that complies with US EPA certification requirements
Targeted pollutants: SO2, NO, NOX, CO, O3, PM2.5, PM10, etc.

Applications: 
· Emergency monitoring of heavy pollution
· Urban air quality management
· Border transportation monitoring of key pollution sources
· Agricultural production environment monitoring
· Other scenarios(changes with customer demands)


Market prospects
According to the research we have done, there are over 380 HCl monitoring gaps in Vietnam’s incineration plants. If the project can be processed sound and well, it will be an exemplary project for other enterprises in this industry to follow suit, improving their monitoring methods to shoulder their social responsibilities.
